Pastor's Thots

I’m home. It seems to me someone said one time “home at last, home at last, praise God Almighty, I’m home at last.” Well, if they didn’t say it, they should have. I arrived home Sunday afternoon at 3:00. I missed my flight in Washington DC, they took my passport in Maputo, I got sick in Quelimane. It was hot and muggy. On the other hand, 8 people accepted Christ, I helped train 60 pastors and church leaders. What an incredible experience. They were hungry to learn. We take so much for granted: Good roads, drinkable water, soft beds, smooth TP, Dr. Pepper, fluffy pillows, cool nights, local stores, language skills, and reliable electricity. God help me to be grateful. I hope to give more to missions and pray for missionaries specifically.

Your humbled Pastor.
