thot for today

as i was reading Mark 6 i noticed that the religious people, people from Jesus' home town, probably people who knew Him, were offended by Him. 2000 years later i'm wondering why? He was different, yes. He taught in a different style, yes. He taught with authority, yes (we don't like authority either). People were listening to Him when they had been listening to them, yes. He was being used by God and they weren't, well, I think so. what's the bottom line? JEALOUSY! Did you know the devil is still using the same tactic today to combat the works of God?
